78249 Capaccioni           Discovered 2002 Aug. 4 by the Campo Imperatore Near Earth Object Survey.
Fabrizio Capaccioni (b. 1957) has studied the electromagnetic effects associated with impact craterization. He currently works on planetary research, with an emphasis on the study of the surface composition of solar-system bodies by means of reflectance spectroscopy techniques.
