4976 Choukyongchol           Discovered 1991 Aug. 9 by K. Watanabe at JCPM Sapporo Station.
Kyong Chol Chou (b. 1929) is one of the leading astronomers in Korea. After working at NASA and the U.S. Naval Observatory, he now teaches at Kyunghee University and is active in astronomical research and popularization. The name was suggested by K. Hurukawa.
