30829 Wolfwacker           Discovered 1990 Oct. 10 by L. D. Schmadel and F. Börngen at Tautenburg.
Wolfgang Wacker (b. 1944) is a German astronomer who worked at the Heidelberg Max-Planck-Institut and as a teacher. For 25 years he served as scientific head and later as manager and director of the Mannheim planetarium. The name was suggested by the first discoverer.
