29484 Honzaveselý           Discovered 1997 Nov. 9 by L. Šarounová at Ondřejov.
Legendary Czech cyclist Jan `Honza' Veselý (b. 1923) started his sports career as a bakery apprentice. Twenty-seven times national cyclist champion, he won the international Peace Race in 1949 and four times was a member of the winning Czechoslovakian team. He was holder of the National Fair-Play Award in 1997.
