27922 Mascheroni           Discovered 1996 Dec. 8 by P. G. Comba at Prescott.
Lorenzo Mascheroni (1750-1800), professor at the University of Pavia and author of a treatise on statics, proved that all plane construction problems that can be solved with ruler and compass can also be solved with compass alone.
