Joseph L. Kirschvink (b. 1954) is a professor at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. His interests focus on geomagnetic reversals, geomagnetic sensitivity in animals, the biological effects of electromagnetic fields and biomineralization of ferromagnetic materials.
