27004 Violetaparra           Discovered 1998 Feb. 27 by ODAS at Caussols.
Violeta del Carmen Parra Sandoval (1917-1967), known as Violeta Parra, was a well-known Chilean artist and folk singer. She compiled, saved and popularized Chilean folk songs. The discoverer of this minor planet heard Violeta Parra's most well-known song, "gracias a la vida", from his future wife in 2001.
