24059 Halverson           Discovered 1999 Oct. 2 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Carl Halverson mentored a finalist in the 2007 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition. He teaches at the Mission Valley Middle School, Prairie Village, Kansas.
