9986 Hirokun           Discovered 1996 July 12 by Y. Shimizu and T. Urata at Nachi-Katsuura.
Hirokun is a nickname for Hiroshi Fukazawa, who was the fiancé of Mizuho Urata (1972-2004), daughter of the second discoverer.
