5077 Favaloro           Discovered 1974 June 17 by the Felix Aguilar Observatory team at the El Leoncito Station.
Rene Favaloro (1923-2000) was a well-known Argentinian cardiologist who first developed the coronary-artery bypass surgery technique. Thanks to this approach a number of people have been able to recover from serious heart conditions all over the world.
