172525 Adamblock           Discovered 2003 Oct. 4 by D. Healy at Junk Bond Observatory.
Adam Block (b. 1973) has helped popularize astronomy through public speaking and his masterful astronomical photographs. A former coordinator of the public observing programs at Kitt Peak National Observatory, he has been named director of the astronomical activities at the new Mount Lemmon Science Center, near Tucson.
