15911 Davidgauthier           Discovered 1997 Oct. 4 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.
David Gauthier (b. 1932) is an influential political philosopher who earned a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford, then was a faculty member at the University of Toronto and, beginning in 1980, at the University of Pittsburgh. The name was suggested by R. Jedicke and P. Jedicke.
