15819 Alisterling           Discovered 1994 Sept. 28 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.
Alister Ling (b. 1962) is a meteorologist with Environment Canada. An amateur astronomer who is a skilled observer and writer, he contributes a regular feature to Astronomy magazine and won the Simon Newcomb Award in 2003. The name was suggested by R. Jedicke and P. Jedicke.
