15249 Capodimonte           Discovered 1989 Dec. 28 by E. W. Elst at Haute Provence.
Capodimonte is the name of the astronomical observatory near Naples that was inaugurated in early November 1819, four days before astronomer Annibale de Gasparis was born. De Gasparis worked there almost his entire life, discovering nine minor planets visually.
