14551 Itagaki           Discovered 1997 Oct. 22 by T. Okuni at Nanyo.
Koichi Itagaki (b. 1947), a confectionery manufacturing industry president, is also an amateur astronomer in Yamagata. He is credited with the discovery of supernovae 2001bq and 2001gd.
