14542 Karitskaya           Discovered 1997 Sept. 29 by R. A. Tucker at Goodricke-Pigott Observatory.
Eugenia Alexeevna Karitskaya (b. 1947) is an astronomer at the Sternberg Astronomical Institute in Moscow and a specialist in the study of x-ray variable stars. Among many accomplishments, she contributed to the compilation of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars.
