12926 Brianmason           Discovered 1999 Sept. 27 by J. L. Schiff and C. J. Schiff at Takapuna.
Renowned New Zealand-born meteoriticist Brian Mason (b. 1917) worked at the American Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian Institution. His research included the classification of Antarctic meteorites. The minerals brianite and stenhuggarite (Swedish for stone mason) are named for him.
