11431 Karelbosscha           Discovered 1971 May 13 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld at Leiden on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Karel Albert Rudolf Bosscha (1865-1928) was a notable Dutch tea planter in Malabar, West Java, who, with his nephew Rudolf Albert Kerkhoven, greatly contributed to the establishment of an astronomical observatory in Lembang, near Bandung.
