11051 Racine           Discovered 1990 Nov. 15 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
The dramatic poet Jean-Baptiste Racine (1639-1699) was the uncontested master of French classicism. The unforgettable characters of his plays suffer from feelings of incompleteness in a world of passionate self-interest. The name was suggested by R. Josse.
