10954 Spiegel           Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Beate Spiegel (b. 1960) serves as head of the office of the Klaus Tschira Foundation. She was instrumental in supporting the project "Digitization of the Palomar-Leiden Survey and the T- n Trojan Surveys" of the van Houtens. The name was suggested by L. D. Schmadel.
