10526 Ginkogino           Discovered 1990 Oct. 19 by T. Hioki and S. Hayakawa at Okutama.
Ginko Ogino (1851-1913), the first registered woman doctor in Japan, opened doors for women into the medical world. While working as a doctor, she greatly contributed to the improvement of the position of women in society.
