10300 Tanakadate           Discovered 1989 Mar. 6 by T. Seki at Geisei.
Physicist Aikitu Tanakadate (1856-1952) was a pioneer in geophysical research in Japan. He started his study by measuring gravity and geomagnetism at many points. The International Latitude Observatory at Mizusawa was founded in 1899 following his proposal.
