5494 Johanmohr           Discovered 1933 Oct. 19 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg.
German-Dutch astronomer Johan Maurits Mohr (1716-1775) made several successful meteorological and astronomical observations from his private observatory on the Molenvliet, Batavia, Dutch East Indies. The observations included some of the transits of Venus in 1761 and 1769.
