11967 Boyle           Discovered 1994 Aug. 12 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Robert Boyle (1627-1691) was a British physicist and philosopher well known for his experiments with gases, leading to the discovery that the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure. In 1661 he developed the concept of primary particles (the critical chymist).
