5895 Žbirka           Discovered 1982 Oct. 16 by Z. Vavrova at Klet.
Miroslav Žbirka (b. 1952) is a Slovak singer and songwriter. Before going solo, he played in the bands Modus and Limit. His songs in Slovak, Czech and English have greatly enriched the Czech and Slovak pop music scene. He is a lifelong fan of the Beatles. The name was suggested by S. Kürti.
