LINK will pursue Swift over several weeks, aiming to grapple it and lift it to 600 km altitude orbit above Earth, roughly double its current altitude. LINK was released at ~40,000 ft from the L-1011 carrier aircraft "Stargazer" over the Marshall Islands. A Northrup Grumman Pegasus XL rocket then propelled it into orbit in ~13 minutes. The coarse trajectory here is based on TLE's so will not contain predictive maneuvering. Ballistic extrapolation up to 5 days past the epoch of the last TLE is allowed, but will not reflect maneuvers until after they occur.
