It is \n  currently approved for an extended mission through September 2025.\n\n  BioSentinel contains a miniature laboratory designed to measure how living \n  Saccharomyces Cerevisiae yeast cells respond to long-term exposure to \n  ambient space radiation beyond low-Earth orbit, including DNA damage.\n\n  After completing the lunar flyby and spacecraft checkout, the science mission \n  phase began with the rehydration of the first set of two yeast-containing \n  microfluidic cards. No growth was observed. This is thought due to the yeast\n  expiring during extended storage time prior to launch.\n\n  A second payload, the LET spectrometer, is used to characterize cumulative\n  radiation dosage and type of radiation beyond low-Earth orbit.\n\n SPACECRAFT PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:\n   * Dimensions          : 10 x 20 x 30 cm (6U CubeSat, shoebox sized)\n   * Total mass          : 14 kg\n   * Solar panels        : 30 Watts\n   * Communications      : X-band, 2 watts\n\n SPACECRAFT TRAJECTORY:\n  Post-launch trajectory. Tracking data up to 2026-Sep-01, prediction \n  thereafter.\n\n  Trajectory name                          Start (TDB)        Stop (TDB)\n  ----------------------------------    -----------------  -----------------\n   Concatenated trajectory solutions    2022-Nov-16 14:25  2026-Jan-01 00:01\n   BioSEphem_2026_245_v0                2026-Jan-01 00:01  2028-Jan-01 23:59\n*******************************************************************************\n"}
