Orbit Viewer Help

The following are notes we hope will help resolve some issues related to using the orbit viewer Java applet in various web browsers.

If the applet has stopped working recently because of a recent Java upgrade:

Oracle has provided this Java Verification page: http://www.java.com/verify

Firefox Browser

As of version 52, Firefox has decided they will no longer support various plugins in the browser, including Java applets. It is recommended to run our orbit applet in other web browsers, such as Internet Explorer or Safari.

Chrome Browser

Google has decided they will no longer support various plugins in their Chrome browser, including Java applets, Silverlight and Facebook Videos. It is recommended to run our orbit applet in other web browsers, such as Internet Explorer or Safari.
