9477 Kefennell           Discovered 1998 Aug. 17 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Katherine Elizabeth Fennell (b. 1999) is a finalist in the 2012 Broadcom MASTERS, a math and science competition for middle-school students, for her animal and plant sciences project. She attends the Montessori Middle School, Norwalk, Connecticut.
