9222 Chubey           Discovered 1995 Dec. 19 by T. Kobayashi at Oizumi.
Markiyan S. Chubey (b. 1940) is a Ukrainian-born Russian scientist working at the Pulkovo Observatory. He is an astrometrist and is leading a team to develop astrometry and astrophysics at the sun-earth L4 and L5 points using the stereo principle.
