8467 Benoîtcarry           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Named in honor of Benoît Carry (b. 1983), a Research Fellow at the European Space Astronomy Centre, Spain. His 2009 University of Paris Ph.D. research and ongoing investigations specialize in the physical properties of minor planets as measured from high angular-resolution imaging.
