8460 Imainamahoe           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Imai Namahoe (b. 1954) is an electronics technician for the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility on Mauna Kea, Hawaii. As part of the IRTF summit day crew since 1986, he has worked to ensure that the telescope and its supporting electrical systems are maintained and operational.
