7273 Garyhuss           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Gary R. Huss (b. 1954) is director of the W. M. Keck Cosmochemistry Laboratory at the University of Hawaii. His primary research interest is in the origin of chondrites and their components in the early solar nebula, with a focus on using short-lived radionuclides to deduce time scales.
