5623 Iwamori           Discovered 1990 Oct. 20 by A. Sugie at Dynic Astronomical Observatory.
Named in memory of Yasuke Iwamori, late principal of Kyoto city Rakuyou technical high school who taught physics and astronomy there. Name proposed by the discoverer following a suggestion by S. Sakabe.
