36672 Sidi           Discovered 2000 Aug. 21 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
Foundling Sidonie Adlersburg (1933-1943) grew up with her foster parents Josefa and Hans Breirather in Sierning, Austria, until she was deported to Auschwitz, where she soon perished. She is memorialized in the novel Abschied von Sidonie by Erich Hackl. The name was suggested by H. Raab.
