36061 Haldane           Discovered 1999 Sept. 11 by M. M. M. Santangelo at Monte Agliale.
British biologist and philosopher of science John Burton Sanderson Haldane (1892-1964) worked on the role of natural selection in biological evolution. He also studied the role of size of organisms, stating "Haldane's principle" (in his 1928 essay On being the right size) and wrote on the subject of biostatistics.
