32605 Lucy           Discovered 2001 Aug. 23 by W. K. Y. Yeung at the Desert Eagle Observatory.
Lucy is the common name of AL 288-1, the 40-percent-complete Australopithecus afarensis skeleton discovered on 1974 Nov. 24 by the International Afar Research Expedition in the Awash Valley of Ethiopia's Afar Depression. Lucy is estimated to have lived 3.2 million years ago.
