27928 Nithintumma           Discovered 1997 Mar. 5 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Nithin Reddy Tumma (b. 1994) is a finalist in the 2012 Intel Science Talent Search, and was awarded first place in the 2011 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, for his biochemistry project. He attends the Port Huron Northern High School, Port Huron, Michigan.
