27849 Suyumbika           Discovered 1994 Oct. 29 by T. Kryachko at the Zelenchukskaya Station of Kazan State University.
The Suyumbika Tower is the symbol of Kazan, one of the oldest towns in Russia, founded in 1005. Legend has it that princess Suyumbika jumped from the tower, rather than allow herself to be captured by enemies surrounding the town.
