24999 Hieronymus           Discovered 1998 July 24 by P. Pravec at Ondrejov.
Jerome van Aeken (Hieronymus Bosch, c. 1450-1516), was a Dutch painter of the late Middle Ages who showed the depths of the human mind. In works such as The Temptation of St. Anthony he used symbols to depict vulnerability to the temptation of evil and the obsessive attraction of lust, heresy and obscenity.
