23852 Laurierumker           Discovered 1998 Sept. 14 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Laurie Ann Rumker (b. 1993) is a finalist in the 2007 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition, for her biochem, medicine, health, and microbiology project. She attends the Oregon Episcopal School, Portland, Oregon.
