175548 Sudzius           Discovered 2006 Sept. 27 by K. Cernis and J. Zdanavicius at the Moletai Astronomical Observatory.
Jokubas Sudzius (b. 1946) is an associate professor at the Astronomical Observatory of Vilnius University, where he was director (1988-2009). Previously director of the Maidanak station (1978-1988) in Uzbekistan, he is an expert in the fields of interstellar extinction, Galactic structure and stellar photometry.
