16479 Paulze           Discovered 1990 Aug. 20 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Marie-Anne Pierrette Paulze (1758-1836) was the wife and scientific collaborator of the chemist Antoine Lavoisier. Her heritage is found in the fine detailed drawings she made of the apparatus invented by her husband for his chemical investigations.
