16259 Housinger           Discovered 2000 May 6 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Named in honor of Sharon Housinger for mentoring a finalist in the 2002 Intel Science Talent Search, a science competition for high school seniors. Housinger is a teacher at the University of Chicago Laboratory School, Chicago, Illinois.
