16225 Georgebaldo           Discovered 2000 Feb. 29 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Named in honor of George J. Baldo for mentoring a finalist in the 2002 Intel Science Talent Search, a science competition for high school seniors. Baldo is a teacher at the Ward Melville High School, East Setauket, New York.
