14976 Josefcapek           Discovered 1997 Sept. 27 by P. Pravec at Ondrejov.
Josef Capek (1887-1945) was a Czech artist with wide interests, including painting, graphic arts and writing, authoring stories for children and coauthoring dramas together with his brother Karel. Part of his art was influenced by the growing threat posed by the fascists to Czechoslovakia in the 1930s.
