14927 Satoshi           Discovered 1994 Nov. 1 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Furukawa Satoshi (b. 1964), a Japanese astronaut involved with the International Space Station, trained as a Soyuz-TMA Flight Engineer and NASA mission specialist to assemble and manage the Japanese Experiment Module. From 1989 to 1999 he practised clinical surgery and undertook medical research.
