Elena Sergeevna Dmitrienko (b. 1952) is a senior researcher at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory and wife of astronomer Igor' Savanov. She deals with the physical properties and behavior on different timescales of interactive binaries: symbiotic stars, magnetic stars and novae.
