13488 Savanov           Discovered 1982 Oct. 14 by L. G. Karachkina at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Igor' Spartakovich Savanov (b. 1956) is the vice-director of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. His principal research is in stellar spectroscopy, stellar atmospheres, abundance analysis of stars and investigations of chemically peculiar stars of different types.
