13278 Grotecloss           Discovered 1998 Aug. 17 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Kristin Shannon Grotecloss (b. 1988) is a finalist in the 2002 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition, for her behavioral science project. She attends the Southside Fundamental Middle School, St. Petersburg, Florida.
